P2 is seeking a Sr. IT Business Analyst for our client’s broad customer experience improvement program. This program includes a number of sub programs, one of which is called “Customer Interface” (CI). The Customer Interface (“CI”) sub-program is focused on enabling the customer-facing digital channels of web, mobile app, IVR, email, and social media. CI will provide our client’s customers with an improved experience across digital channels, driving ease of use and increasing adoption of self service. Major project milestones are coming up in April and again in August for a contract project located in Bellevue/Bothell area. Due to the interview process with the client, we are only reviewing candidates local to the market at this time.

Requirements

Significant experience as an IT Business Analyst within large enterprise environments working with multiple teams to implement software technology solutions partnering with System Integrators for project execution.

o Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements

o Assess business process and system inefficiencies

o Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs

o Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level

o Ability to write Functional Specifications and prepare training materials

o Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes and identify potential gaps as well as impacts

o Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and decompose high-level information into details

o Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing Stakeholder relationships

o Collaborate closely with technical team to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process

o Ability to lead User Acceptance Test

o Well versed with both waterfall, iterative waterfall and Agile project methodologies

o Previous experience working in utilities that handle both electricity and gas services a PLUS

- Experience working with diverse technologies:

o Experience with Web site hosted on Sitecore Technology

o Familiar with SAP systems architecture, data models and implementation in the energy sector

o Familiarities with Web Services and API model protocol

- Strong Working knowledge of the following tools:

o HP ALM for requirements and testing

o TFS for project management

o Sharepoint for project document storage

o Visio/Excel – Process Mapping and requirements tracking

o Bachelor’s degree

o CBAP a plus
